From the moment of diagnosis, it can feel like control is whipped away and just trying to predict what today will feel like can feel impossible.
But when treatment and support is fragmented and unpredictable too, life becomes even more challenging.
MS Trust exists to change that. From MS Trust’s very beginnings, the charity has been driven by a belief that the way things are isn’t the way they have to be.
When friends Chris and Jill decided enough was enough, and that people living with MS needed to feel more in control of their condition, MS Trust was born.
Ever since, they’ve been working to demystify MS, and provide the best and most relevant information to everyone living with MS, whatever it looks like for them.
Today, the charity brings more parts of MS expertise and support together than ever.
MS Trust provides trusted information online and in-print, offer compassionate support on their helpline, and share experiences of people with MS to improve day-to-day life with the condition. The charity also trains MS healthcare professionals and support MS Nurses and other roles to ensure that the care people with MS receive is the same no matter where they are in the UK. And finally, they’re funding research rooted in real experience, helping to find improvements to quality of life while living with MS.
