The Multiple Sclerosis Trust (MS Trust) believes no one should have to manage MS alone. The charity provides trusted information, educates health professionals, and funds MS nurses, all to help people with MS live the best life possible.
The MS Trust ensures that people with MS across the UK have the specialist care and information they need to live well with their condition.
Charity founders Chris Jones and Jill Holt were tired of underfunded MS research, inadequate information for the newly diagnosed, and an unduly negative image of people with MS. So in 1993 they set up a charity to ensure no one has to manage MS alone, and can live their life to its full.
The MS Trust has provided training for every new MS Specialist Nurse in the UK since 2000. The charity is passionate about making sure that the 110,000 people with MS in the UK have access to an MS Specialist Nurse – health professionals who are vital in helping people deal with their diagnosis, consider their treatment options and adjust to living well with MS. The MS Trust also works with the NHS to fund additional nurses in the areas that need them most. Your old car donation could help to fund this essential work.
Day to day, the MS Trust provides accurate, up-to-date and practical information to people living with MS, and their MS support team. From high-quality booklets to online resources and a confidential phone and email enquiry service, the charity are enabling communities to stay informed and supported throughout their MS journey.
