About The National Autistic Society

Registered charity numbers: 269425, SC039427

The National Autistic Society (NAS) is the leading UK charity for people with autism (including Asperger syndrome) and their families. This organisation provides information, support and pioneering services and campaigns for a better world for people with autism.

Around 1 in 100 people in the UK have autism. That’s around 700,000 people. Including their families, 2.8 million people live with autism every day. Autism is a spectrum condition that affects how a person communicates with others and experiences the world. Autism affects everyone differently. Some may require a lifetime of specialist support and care, whilst others live relatively independent lives.

Donating your car will bring us one step closer to a world where people on the autism spectrum are understood, supported and appreciated. You will be helping anxious parents support their child through The National Autistic Society’s Autism Helpline, ensuring children with autism receive the education they deserve and supporting adults to develop their skills and find employment.
