The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS) exists to prevent loss of life and alleviate sickness through the provision of a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) and a national children’s transfer service.
The cost of maintaining this life-saving service is huge. This dynamic, forward thinking organisation receives no Government or National Lottery funding, so its superb service relies on the support of generous people like you. Every car recycled really will make a difference, keeping TAAS flying and saving lives.
The Air Ambulance Service is the umbrella organisation for:
The Children’s Air Ambulance
A national bespoke helicopter transfer service for seriously ill children who need moving safely and quickly between hospitals for specialist care.
Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA)
WNAA provides a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) to the counties of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and the Milton Keynes area. The service’s main purpose is to prevent loss of life, relieve sickness and aid recovery to those in need across the entire operating area.
Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA)
DLRAA also provides a HEMS to the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. It’s main aim is exactly the same as WNAA – to prevent loss of life, relieve sickness and aid recovery to those in need across the entire operating area.
Donate your car to TAAS with Charity Car. It won’t cost you a penny and we’ll arrange collection of your car at a time to suit you.
