Christian Compassion for a Hurting World
International Aid Trust shares Christ’s love through practical aid, life changing projects and gospel ministry, working in Eastern Europe, West Africa, Asia and the UK.
Having worked in Ukraine since 1991, when the war began International Aid Trust were well placed to provide practical and spiritual support to people whose lives have been devastated by the war, through their Ukrainian staff, volunteers and churches. Thanks to the generosity of British supporters, since 2022, International Aid Trust has sent over 1,200 tonnes of vital aid, valued at over £24M, into Ukraine, as well as providing over 100 lifesaving vehicles.

Humanitarian aid sent from International Aid Trust’s Lancashire warehouse includes everything from food to hospital beds, clothing to generators! These donations also enable the charity’s teams and partners in Moldova and Romania to support Ukrainian refugees and local people living in poverty. Reaching out with Jesus’s love is fundamental to the work of International Aid Trust, the good news of the Gospel is always shared alongside practical help.
International Aid Trust also invests in long term development tailored to the needs of local communities. Education helps to break the cycle of poverty. The charity runs schools in Sierra Leone that provide quality education, free lunches and a caring Christian environment. Children in Ukraine, Moldova and the Philippines benefit from after school clubs and holiday camps run by local churches. Skills training for adults includes the ‘Hands of Dorcas’ tailoring training projects. Free clinics for people unable to access healthcare, rehabilitation projects and ‘family style’ homes for rescued children are all part of the ministry.
Donating your scrap car with Charity Car will help International Aid Trust’s teams to keep serving people in need, in Jesus’ name.
