CHIPS provides vital play and social opportunities for children with additional needs living in East Herts and Broxbourne.
CHIPS stands for Children’s Integrated Play Schemes. Simple play is not only fun, but a key component of healthy living by enabling good physical, emotional, mental and social development. Play is truly fundamental in any child’s full development. So, CHIPS exists to offer play and social opportunities for children with additional needs aged 3 to 19. Brothers and sisters are also encouraged to join as the charity believes that all children should play together, regardless of their needs.
CHIPS has five play scheme locations that are open all year round. As well as hosting a sibling support group, a teen group and a parent/carer group – so everyone is involved.
Your old car donation could help CHIPS to support over 230 families across East Hertfordshire and the Borough of Broxbourne. Every year the charity has to raise over £45,000 to keep its doors open and the smiles happening – so your car donation could have a huge impact on this total and make a real difference to families in need of CHIPS’ support.
