What happens when I choose to have my car collected?

What we'll do for you:

  1. We’ll get in touch to agree your collection time and date. 
  2. On the day of collection, we’ll arrive at the time agreed.
  3. We’ll check and take a copy of your ID.
  4. We’ll take care of the DVLA paperwork. 
  5. Finally, we'll arrange for your donation to be sent to your chosen charity and write to you with confirmation.

What you'll need to do:

  1. You’ll need to have your ID ready.
  2. It helps if you have your registration certificate to hand.
  3. If your car is to be sold at auction, it's also helpful if you can hand over any keys and service history for your car.
  4. Finally, don’t forget to remove any personal belongings and rubbish.

If you've any remaining road tax, DVLA will refund you automatically.
