Are the parts worth anything?

We'll always take into consideration any potential parts value when you donate your car, so we can get the maximum donation possible for charity. Certain makes and model have particularly desirable parts, which can make the car worth more.

However, the older your car is, the less likely it is that any of its parts will have a resale value, as they become old and worn out. Unfortunately, even new parts that you’ve had to purchase recently can hold little or no value, due to the cost of removing and storing them for re-sale, and the fact they’re considered second hand.

Overall, there isn't the demand for spare parts there once was, due to the wide availability of cheap, brand new, after-market parts. When most cars reach the end of their useful life, recycling is the most effective way to get the best value from a car.
