Families Need Fathers is a charity chiefly concerned with the problems of maintaining a child’s relationship with both parents and extended family following divorce and separation.
Over a third of parents who do not live with their children lose all contact with them within 2-3 years of divorce or separation. The consequences of this can be extremely damaging for the emotional, educational, psychological and social development of the children involved.
The donation of your old car will help provide valuable information and practical support services to fathers and mothers, grandparents and wider family members throughout this process, including emotional support via the charity’s 50 UK branches, comprehensive website, Helpline and other resources for members that will assist them to have a meaningful relationship with their children.
FNF offers support and guidance to all members of the public who seek their help, regardless of gender, age, marital status, ethnic origin, and/or disability. It has a free helpline available 9am – 10pm Monday – Friday, 10am – 3pm weekends, on 0300 0300 363.
Families Need Fathers works closely with the Government and all relevant agencies on issues affecting children and parents and the charity uses all aspects of the media to increase public awareness of the problems facing children, and parents who experience family breakdown.
