April gave us sunshine, rain, and everything in between. It also brought us two wonderful new charity partners! By joining Charity Car, these charities can get vital funds from supporters through donations of old cars.

Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire

Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire Logo

Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire opened in 1993 and was one of the first Emmaus communities in the UK. They accommodate up to 18 previously homeless people, supplying not just accommodation, but meals, clothing, toiletries and support. The residents of Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire work within the community, including helping in homes, delivery and collection of food and furniture, working in Emmaus' second-hand furniture shop, and providing a bulky waste collection service for their local council. This gives the residents self-esteem, and work experience, helping them to help themselves and others.

What is Charity Car?

Charity Car converts old cars into cash donations for registered charities throughout the UK. Donated cars are assessed and either auctioned, or broken down for spare parts and recycled, to raise the maximum donation for the charity that the donator has chosen. Looking after the environment, we make sure any car that is broken down and recycled is done so to the highest standards, with over 95% of every car we scrap being recycled.

How donating your car with Charity Car works
