Since 1956 Abbeyfield has been giving vital support, companionship and care to older people across the UK. From its founding in a single house in London, Abbeyfield now has over 500 homes where older people can live happy, safe and companionable lives.
Supported by volunteers, staff work tirelessly to ensure that Abbeyfield residents, and older people from the local community, are able to enjoy a fulfilling later life and are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Your car donation will help Abbeyfield develop more services for frail, older people – such as helping create dementia friendly gardens, or providing hot home-cooked meals as part of its ‘Sharing Sundays’ scheme when isolated older people from the local community can come to Abbeyfield.
