10 years of Charity Car donation promotion

Charity Car is ten years old this October! To celebrate our decade of donating your old cars to charity, we're going to give your chosen charities an extra £10 on top of all donations from the 10th day of the 10th month!

If you have an old car to donate and want to make sure your chosen charity benefits from our extra birthday donation then simply follow the steps below during the week starting the 10th October 2021.

Step 1 - Choose a charity

All Charity Car's Official Partners are registered in the UK, all you have to do is check out our full list of charities and choose the cause closest to your heart.

Step 2 - Donate your car

Simply tell us your registration and postcode on our website to start the donation process. We'll ask you a few questions about you and your car. For full information about our normal car donation process see our 'How it works' page.

Step 3 - Email us

Once you've donated your car, simply email MarketingTeam@CarTakeBack.com with your Charity Car reference number (this can be found on any confirmation email sent by Charity Car) and the promotional code 'CCBDAY10'.

If you have donated on or between the 10th and the 17th October we'll add our celebratory birthday bonus donation onto the proceeds from your old car. So your chosen charity will get an extra £10!

Step 4 – Confirmation of your donation and birthday bonus!

Once we've processed your old car, we'll email you to let you know what happened to it and how much money it raised for your chosen charity. We'll also confirm your bonus £10 donation to celebrate our birthday!

 Charity Car £10 Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions apply to the Charity Car £10 Promotion ("Promotion") through which customers may be eligible to have an extra £10 (“Extra Donation”) added on to their the value of their vehicle before the proceeds are donated donation to their chosen charity (“donation”).
  2. The Promotion is valid for successfully completed Service Agreements that have been initiated through the Charity Car website.
  3. By participating in this Promotion, individuals agree to these terms and conditions, therefore please read these carefully.
  4. The Promotion is run by CarTakeBack.com Limited, who is the promoter. CharityCar.co.uk is a website operated by CarTakeBack.com Limited
  5. The Promotion is open to any Charity Car Customer.
  6. We will make only one Extra Donation for each vehicle donated.
  7. The Promotion starts on 10th October 2021 and finishes on 17th October 2021. To be eligible for the Promotion, the Charity Car Customer must have entered into a contract to use the services between 10th October 2021 and 17th October 2021 inclusive. The last date that claims will be accepted is by midnight on 31st October 2021.
  8. To make a claim, the Charity Car Customer should email their Charity Car reference number (this can be found on any confirmation email sent by Charity Car) along with the promotional code 'CCBDAY10' to MarketingTeam@CarTakeBack.com, in order to be verified.
  9. CarTakeBack may request additional information in order to verify the claim.
  10. Following successful verification, the Extra Donation will be added to the donation amount and passed onto the chosen charity. The donation amount cannot be split between charities.
  11. The Extra Donation is non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative.
  12. CarTakeBack shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control.
  13. CarTakeBack accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Promotion.
  14. CarTakeBack further disclaims liability for any damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Promotion.
  15. CarTakeBack reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, void, suspend or terminate the Promotion at any time, without prior notice.
  16. The Promoter’s decision on any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. The decision of CarTakeBack is final and CarTakeBack will not enter into correspondence relating to its decision.
  18. Subject to applicable law, this Promotion and these terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including any non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim (including any non-contractual disputes or claims) arising from, or related to, this Promotion and these terms and conditions.
