About Surrey Wildlife Trust

Registered charity number: 208123

SWT is the only charity concerned solely with the conservation of all forms of wildlife in Surrey.

Surrey Wildlife Trust (SWT) is one of 47 Wildlife Trusts across the country, each working to create a better future for wildlife in the UK. Together these Trusts make up the UK’s largest people-powered environmental organisation working for nature’s recovery on land and at sea.

If you choose to donate your old car to SWT it will be used to protect rare habitats and wildlife across the county and ensure that Surrey’s residents can continue to enjoy the county’s beautiful landscape for generations to come.

The Trust ensures wildlife has a voice and it may use your donation to restore one of Surrey’s rare habitats, protect wildlife or safeguard its outdoor education services, which reaches over 15,000 children and young people every year. Your old car donation could help people of all ages and ability to enjoy, involve and inform them about the natural world around them.

The hands-on approach of SWT – from advising on tiny community gardens to maintaining the largest reserve in the South East and actively advising landowners on managing land for nature has helped protect some of Surrey’s most threatened species.
